The Instrument Lights That Wouldn't Leave 900 1993

Several of my instrument lights (aka idiot lights) have decided to stay on after ignition. A couple may go out as usual but the center most indicators remain on. I have seen this before in one of my previous Saabs but it was years ago. This car is a 940 Turbo Wagon and is stereotypically well behaved. I think one of the Saab incidents had to do with a fuse. I have posted about the bad lamp indicator that won't go out and everyone responded as if that were a running joke and family members with a long history of wagons more or less reacted the same way. .So I no longer pay any attention to it. An Audi also played out this instrument light scenario when something was amiss with the alternator. Any ideas?
Thanks,
B
