If you had a single down draught Weber manifold, I'd be tempted to fit a 500cfm Holley 2bbl. I put one on a modified 2 litre Pinto & it was pretty good. Only mod to make the Holley run on a 4 cylinder was to block off the power valve channels & drill .019" holes in them. It was good on fuel & so simple to jet compared to a DGAV plus it was about 50% bigger. (It's a David Vizard mod)

There is also a 45mm DFV floating around that are OK, they come on old Fiats & have 33mm chokes cast in.
