Valve Hushers and Camshaft bearing caps??? 200

I took 2 cylinder heads to the machine shop. One had 250k off my 1990 240 wagon warped .022 out and the other off a 1994 940 with 100k warped .009 out..
They hot tanked both of them and cut the 94 940 head, both still had cam's and valves in them.
The 940 head was missing a camshaft cap #4 before I took it in. Can I replace it with one from the other head??? or do I need to check some clearance? or something? Also would the hot tank cleaning do any damage to the valve hushers???

Thanks in advance...
