Driveshaft support brg. 700

I just replaced the 740 driveshaft support brg and cage
and still have a nasty noise, although not so nasty as before.
My Volvo garage guru suspects a bad bearing.
(He doesn't think it's the rear end or tranny tailshaft from the noise.)

I got the bearing and Scan-Tech cage from FCP. (Its the smaller bearing)

The axle lube is not low, but nasty black- I'll change it tomorrow.

Has anyone any info?

Thanks, Bill
