1992 240 Blower Motor 200

My 92 240 which I bought new in Sweden with god knows how many miles (odo broke at 120K about 10 years ago) and foolishly gave to my 17 year old son, has a ac blower problem. He said it was only blowing weakly for a day or so, no noise or anything, then he went to start it and it doesn't blow at all. AC clutch engages, the power light is on the AC button, and when I push the recirc and defrost buttons I can hear the doors cycling. I also checked the big fuse by the battery and the small ones on the fuse panel. Still no air. So before I pull the car apart to get at the motor is there another relay or fuse that it could be? Is there a easy way to test the switch? Does this sound like a blower motor to you guys, I can't figure out why it failed suddenly without making a lot of noise for a while first?
Thanks,
Jerry Barth
