Swapping out a fender. 200 1989

I have a pretty bunged up driver's side fender. I just got a nice one today from the wrecking yard. I have found the correct paint and clearcoat, some 600 grit sandpaper and I will soon ave a nice silver fender to match my car. But there is a trim-strip on the bottom of the panel that is held on with some sort of butyl tape, about 2" wide or so and about 10" long. I will salvage the strip from the old fender but where can I find the correct tape to put it on the new fender?

Thanks.

D.
