Swapping out a fender. 200 1989

another tip; when you go to paint the fender, it probably won't match. silver never does. If a shade different bothers you, try this... sand the adjacent door with 1000-1500 grit paper wet. prep and seal the fender, and paint the fender on the car pulling some of the color across the door, under the mirror is a nice place to blend. pull the gun back as you move past the panel edge. then mist coat the clear on the door first (1500 grit is wery slippery for clearcoat)and clear both panels. Voila! bodyshop secret revealed.
