ABS dash light 700 1992



The ABS gets grumpy over slight discrepancies between wheel sensors. So it could just be a one time fluke.

IIRC, the ABS gets it's speed signal for the rear wheels direct from the sender in the rear axle, so a flaky speedo shouldn't enter the equation (doesn't on our '91 740). The only common point is the speed sensor in the rear end. Check for bad wiring.

Your speedo problem may just be cracked solder joints in the circuit board in the cluster. Reflowing the solder usually cures this.
