Bad AMM? ... second 1-2-1 code thrown in a few weeks 700

A couple weeks ago, my car was idling high. I pulled the codes (there was no CEL) and it had a 1-2-1 code in socket #2.

I thought it was because I pulled the cable to the AMM myself for some random reason and forgot to clear the code.

This time, I had just parked, and my car suddenly missed BIG time and started idling at about 1300 and then threw a check engine light, which did not happen the first time.

Am I looking at bad wiring or time for a new AMM or...?
There is no air box foam present (I'm going to re-install it though, it does serve a purpose) and the air filter is kind of dirty.

Any ideas? Also, how much am I looking at for a used AMM? I recall that the xx...xx -016 models are reliable. Is that right?

Thanks,
Will

PS This happened not even a mile from the bank where I deposited my check from my Camry accident.
