Windshield surround clips 200 1985

That is, '85 "for example", but 83 is good. 81, whatever. Good evening bricksters. The other day a friend said he was chatting with one of the CSRs at iPD and was told that the "no longer available" story about the stainless trim clips for early 240 windshields is bunk. Apparently they are not specific to 240s and are still out there someplace. I haven't investigated this in over a year, but the last time I did I called four or five different suppliers and all of them told me the clips have not been available since #201 Rose Beige was a popular color, as did Tasca Volvo in MA. I seem to recall Anthony at Tasca actually chuckling when I asked him. Has the situation changed? Has interest in replacing old Volvo windshield trim skyrocketed to the point that someone is reproducing this part? Or, was it out there all along and I just didn't find it? Or did Indiana Jonestrom stumble across the ruins of a defunct Volvo dealer in the Sudan where, in a dusty box, were stored thousands of the artifacts in question? I anxiously await word from anyone with good news. I promise, if it turns out this is the same clip used to hold the tissue box trim in place on a 1951 Packard, I will be no less enthused. In fact, won't a 240 just about fit in a Packard's trunk?
Thanks,
Dave
