M46 OD relay problem -745T 700

Well, I had a broken wire and three others deteriorated in the OD harness but I tried resoldering the relay first.

I repaired the wires one at a time and did not mess with any other wiring at the tunnel pass-through.

OD now works but in all gears, once engaged I have to push the button to take it out of OD.

I rechecked the wiring for continuity and function of the 4th gear switch and it's working OK.

Is it possible that I have created a permanent ground once the 5th gear button is activated by possibly messing up the resolder job?
