I have a 1971 142e that is getting close to needing some muffler work, I have not really found much on the topic, at this point every thing looks stock. Why do they use 2 mufflers instead of one, could I use just one? I would think that it would breathe better. Has any one had success at modifying there 140 exhaust, please share some info, and also does the d-jetronic use a different set up than the carbed models????????????
