(really) high idle 200 1985

ok guys, i finally got the 240 up and running, and now ive got another issue that i hope somebody can help me with

after i got it running, it seemed to be running fine, but idling really high (i dont have a tach in there at the moment, so im not sure exactly how high) after i did a few laps around the block i pulled it back in the driveway, and after turning it off, and restarting it, it started surging... and reving really high...

anyways, is there anyway to test the iac and or does anybody have a wiring diagram for it? is there anything else that would cause the engine to idle really high? i cleaned the tb, and its got a new air filter...

thanks guys, i would appreciate any help...

keith
