brake fluid ONE TIME leak !!? 200 1988

I was under the car looking at suspension bushings and see fluid drips around the front drivers tire. There is no noticeable brake fluid loss.

I pulled the wheel and find spray around the wheel well and all over the control arm and bottom and top side of the strut. Enough that the rubber skirt around the top of the strut is damaged by deterioration. Given the wet pattern the source of a spraying leak is in the hose connections.

I wash the area with soapy water and let it dry.

I have someone press on the brake pedal, engine running and not running, while I watch inside the wheel well ... nothing. I can see the hoses tighten up under pressure ... but no leak.

I have been checking under the car for days and no additional signs of a leak.

I can't imagine any connections that would leak if jarred. Any ideas on what would cause a sudden loose of fluid that would tighten itself back up!!!
