Starter Service Socket 200 1985

"So putting 12V to this connector bypasses the ignition switch to run Fuel pump relay??"

No, it's just a built in hotwire path to the starter solenoid—by way of the NS Switch on automatics. It has no effect on fuel or ignition.

It's just for starter service, like this case. Or when you want to "bump" the starter from under the hood, without having to use the key from inside.

See Bentley 330-1, Figure 2, item "B".
