help -- aux cooling fan vibrates, now out of car 700 1991

I removed the fan since it was vibrating like mad, completely shaking the entire car. Upon observing it working, it appeared to be really out of round. So... I decided to take it out and replace it. Well, it was a bit of a chore, since most of the fasteners holding it on were well rusted at this point.

Once I did remove it, the thin metal housing holding the fan on bent quite out of shape.

So, it looks like I need a new metal housing as well as a true round fan.

Any advice one can offer for this job. Is it safe to drive as long as the A/C is not engaged?
