broke seal to fuel line - sealant or replace....? 900

In my effort and/or zeal to fix the no-start problem, I broke the seal to the fuel line at the pipe where the union converts to rubber hose (right up against the firewall).

is there any fix to this, such as a crush washer or such?

the union is now leaking, so after much futzing with the no-start problem (see other threads), the car is back to life but has a leaky fuel line. not good.

thanks, as always, for your imparted wisdom.
