Grant wheel on a 87 240 200

Got tire of trying to find a R sport Wheel and purchased a grant leather Wheel with horn buttons on each side. Also order the correct kit for the my 87 240. I like the look and the feel a lot over my stock wheel. After Studying the instruction and look at the parts, I see a issue with this install. The two wire running from each of the side horn buttons are problems. On my Volvo it is a one wire hook up. the wheels bolts to the euro kit and mounts flush. There is no grove for the wire. Has anyone else had this problem? Want some input before I brake out the die Grinder. thanks, Greg
