Fuel pump cutout? 200 1982

Hey Everyone,
I've had my 1982 240 for about 6 years now. When i first bought it the fuel pump (main) was faulty and it led to both that failing as well as the in tank. That was right when i bought it. Both were replaced.

The other day i was driving down the highway when i hit a few bumps on the road..right then the engine cut out. It seems like fuel wasn't reaching the engine.

I had it towed back to the house and under further inspection i can't hear the buzz noise that the fuel pump makes during the preignition (position two of the key ignition). Essentially i hear no more buzzing right before i start the car.

One thing to mention is that i did put bk 44 into the tank right before this happened. I had driven about 100 miles on the tank.

Any suggestions?

This is a fuel injection '82
