Thanks for the kind words, Art.

The camera I used is an old Sony DSC-S75. At 3.3MP with its Zeiss lens it knocks the socks of the 7.1MP Canon SD1000 pocket camera I use for convenient size. The Sony renders better color too, but with its size being that of smaller 35mm cameras it doesn't make the cut in choice for my minimalist travel style.

I am amused by the race to greater mega pixels in digital cameras. It is more about the quality of the lens. I assume it is cheaper to chase mega pixels rather than build better lenses.
