brake junction box update 200

So today was good day to work on the cars.Got the 90 240 up on 4 jack stands.Removed all the tires and started to think about removing this dreaded part.I looked around and noticed that the box was not leaking, neither was the MC.I decided to run the car on the stands and sand the rear discs and they spun around to remove the slight rust build up.I did the same for the front only had to spin them manually.I then took a pair of channel lock pliers and pushed the pistons back into all of the calipers by squeezing the pads.I did not take the pads off or remove any parts.I then put the car in drive and went for a "spin".At first I was applying the brakes gently, then I pushed the pads /pistons back in.Slowly in and out till finally I was jamming on the brakes. For the fronts I would spin the rotors as fast as I could and had my wife apply the brakes.Same sequence, slow pedal then finally more agressive. So what happened? My brake failure light is out.Good.But my front left caliper has a small leak, not too bad.The calipers came from Auto Zone so they are covered under lifetime warranty. Will order one on monday.Hopefully this will take care of brake failure light and all is good. Now for that kick down cable!
