another interior light 120-130

My daily driver is a 1963 4-door and I tote my two boys around a lot. There have hundreds of times they are looking for something in their backpacks or want to read a book or suddenly find it pitch dark once I have exited the car and shut the front door.

Before I install a new headliner, I thought it'd be nice to put a new dome light the same distance from the rear window as the front interior light is to the dashboard.

I am not so good with electrics but I know how to solder, shrinkwrap wires and follow directions. How would you guys wire a second light and how tough would it be to get into the door jambs to place the switches (so it turns on when either of the rear doors opens)? I think I have a couple switches from my old 122 or perhaps one of you have a couple extras.

What other things would I need to think about?
