Buy a 1990 240 with left rear hit? 200

Our search continues for 240 for teenage daughter. We are looking at a 1990 with odometer stopped somewhere between 2005 and 2006 at 140,099. Was driven less than 10,000 miles year before that, per carfax, so can reasonably estimate under 170,000 miles. Owner's teenage daughter was driving it and got smacked good at back left tail light. Frame buckles mildly to back left door, trunk raised about an inch on that side. Trunk opens and no sign of leaking. Back door opens with effort. Original owner did not want to put money into fixing it. Being sold by autobody guy who was asking $750 as is. Starts right up and looks as if well maintained. Not registered so only could drive around his lot, but drove straight at those low speeds, and well. Auto body assures this is not a big hit to repair, has 30 years experience, 15 years did all body work at reputable repair shop and has worked on a lot of the volvos. Says he's seen and fixed far worse. He appears to be a straight shooter. Says the metal needs a pull, bumper can't be re-attached but "used reinforcement cover is okay" and new tail lights. He will purchase used parts, do the fix, sell it to us for $1100. We are ready to go for it. Any wise thoughts? Thanks. :-)
