Speedometer sensor in rear 700 1992

Thank you for you response. As you indicated, it was not necessary to remove the old sensor. I unplugged the old connector, and the green/white wire was broken at the top of the connector.
I cut the other wire, and found that the connector could be disassembled into 3 parts.
I was able to drill-out the old wire(much like alternator brush replacement)in the rubber components. This left the female brass contacts. I pushed the wire back thru the rubber part, soldered the brass contact onto the wire, placed the 2 contacts back into their rubber housings, put the rubber contacts back in the plastic housing, and snapped it shut.
Just like new. I have ABS and a speedometer again now.
