Tony,

I'll have to look to see what the Venture Royale is. That is an impressive life span for a bike motor. I know almost nothing about newer bikes. The old Triumphs were not especially famous for reliability, but if they quit, you usually knew why before it coasted to a stop, and could usually have it going again before the motor was cold.
