Brake Fluid Proof? 444-544

Greetings,
It seems like brake fluid likes to eat through most things. So I'm guessing it will also eat away at fuel hose?
Reason I ask is I used some for the short section of hose from the brake fluid reservoir to the brake line that goes to the master cylinder. Luckily there's no fluid in there right now since I'm redoing the brakes and it won't be a big deal to replace it.
Do I need to buy a few inches of some type of fancy brake fluid proof hose before I fill the system back up with fluid??
Thanks,
Sam
