has anyone here ever tried to make this work? 200

at my local boneyard today i came across an 88 sedan with nice sheet metal. the body is really sweet. this car has a manual sunroof as a factory option.

is it possible/practical to cut out the roof of this sedan perhaps a foot front and rear of the sunroof section and after removing a matching section of my new 93 wagon.......weld in this sunroof section to my wagon roof. do the usual grinding and then repainting.

the only real rub i see is the headliner.

am i missing something?

what tool/s would make for the optimal cleanest cut....removing the sunroof section
