960 or 850 head assembly tool? 900

I am doing a valve job on a 92 960 and the last time I did this I borrowed the tool from the dealer to get the upper head to pull down to the head before installing the 46 small bolts.

I have read how some people have used longer bolts to pull it down, but I thought I read where someone made their own tool to pull it together from the spark plug holes.

Anyone done this? I was thinking an old plug with some threaded rod and a plate could do the job.

Got a few days to make one as I wait for the parts.

Jon
