81 245 AC compressor belt replacement... 200 1990

"Any specifics on how to adjust that obscure adjuster bolt on the AC compressor?"

The bolt Art referred to is (as he said) a "bracket" bolt (and nut), not an "adjuster" bolt. It's 1 of 2 locking bolts, and inboard of the visible one. BOTH must be loosened before adjusting tension with the 10mm hex head "jackscrew" adjuster bolt, which is also locked in place by a 13mm nut that faces the radiator. This 13mm nut must also be loosened in order to adjust the belts.
