How low can you go? (fuel tank capacity) 200 1984

So driving to town this morning, I get half way (too late to turn back) and realize I totally spaced getting gas yesterday, and the needle is way down...

Put me into my best effort at hyper-mileing.. coasting when possible, clipping every apex to keep speed up.

I made it to town (actually passing gas station #1 as they charge 10 cents more).. fuel gauge slightly below the red. Topped up at gas station #2 to the first click of the gas pump. 13.89 gallons.

Anyone know what the actual capacity is? Is it the same for sedans and wagons? Car in question is a '84 wagon, non-turbo.
