Brake pad wear 200 1992

Hello all,

I think both pads, front and rear in my 240 sedan are wearing out too fast. I estimate they last about 14-16K miles. I put in OEM Volvo pads last year and had to replace them a week ago; no signs of uneven wearing, but were down to the metal though, that's why I put in new rotors.

The rear pads sound like they are about to go too so I am taking a look before they damage the rotors.

Is this normal? I wonder if the calipers need rebuilding. I bought a rebuilding kit for the front calipers sometime ago but they are still sitting pretty in my garage.

I'd like to know what your guys think and recommend.

Jorge
