Shims for Rear Wheel Bearing Race? 200 1988

You're saying that the Press fit does not exist anymore?
How loose is loose?
What I have seen done on front Hubs, same scenario, is to take a steel chisel and bang some dents around the axle on the Race seating surface. It creates high spots on the surface and the Race will fit tight again.
Although it works, I'm not in love with this method, just reporting what I have seen done.
