Brake Vacuum - Engine Stumble Help Needed 200 1990

Hello. My most recent '90 240 engine (runs good) stumbles after pumping the brake pedal two or three times in rapid succession, only for a few seconds and then smooths out. Just one push on the brakes doesn't seem to have any engine effect. Could this be a sign that: a)the vacuum boost is leaking, b)that there is a vacuum leak somewhere else in the system? I have another '90 240 and you can pump the brakes as much as you want without any engine effect. Thanks, jdl
