CAR WON'T START 200 1990

First of all I bought this Car like 3 months ago and it is a tank. I love it. Well I was driving to a friends house in the rain 2 days ago, when suddely it stalls. I was doing like 55 and it started to decelerate. So i pulled it over and it won't start. My uncle flat towed it home and It has no spark what so ever. I replaced the coil thinking that was it, but no change in results. The fuse behind the battery is good. And i am running in circles trying to figure it out. What would cause it to die suddenly. I was thinking bad ground somewhere or something shorted out. Any comments would be a great help. Thanks!!!
