Brake/tail lights 200

I swear that I thought Lucas electronics (MG and Triumph) was the father of darkness, but there must have been a distant relative employed in Volvo lighting design. Last week, after I replaced the BF relay, all was copasetic. Now, the passenger side tail and brake lights are inoperative. When you say the white bulb 'socket' goes to the is right side....is that driver's side or passenger's side? I have current coming from the BF relay (red wire) to the driver side but none coming to the passenger side (brown wire). If there is a bad bulb on the passenger side....am I going to have power coming out of the BF relay?
