AC 200 1986

Dear bricks;

I just replaced a noisy compressor today with a quieter used unit. After emptying, applying a vacuum, and refilling with freon, there is no cool air coming through?

Here's what we have...While running with AC on there is a vacuum showing on the low side. No leaks after 3 cans of R134. Low side reads 95lbs when not running. We were unable to get an accurate reading on high side due to bad fitting, but estimate at least 150lbs. Clutch will not engage unless jumped with 12 volts. Prior noisy compressor blew cool air when fully charged. Why are we not getting cool air if this unit is fully charged? Even when clutch is engaged...Is there a likely solution? Feel free to call...605-256-4418

Thanks in advance,

Alan
