No.1 fuse 700 1989

I have an 89 740GL with a very badly burnt No.1 spade fuse holder. I would like to install an in-line fuse holder for this paticular fuse. Problem I have is that there are three wires at the back of this location.

Has anyone done a remote "holder" at this fuse and if so, which wires did you pick to run to the new fuse holder? One connection runs to the FI relay, one is incoming hot and the other I can't tell.

This sure would be simpler than replacing the whole fuse block....too bad it's not two wires behind that fuse.

Thanks in advance.
