Glove shelf bracket? 120-130 1967

If I have time today I will do the same. Without the 2 wires being tensioned, the shelf is then loose enough to have everything on it fall down the space between it and the firewall.

BTW, there is no battery acid in the area and the battery tray is clean. Just water from the almost gone windshield seal. I just applied some clear silicone caulking all around it and hope it lasts the summer.
