M47 shifter seals 200

I recently had the m47 in my 87 240 rebuilt by a local shop. The trans seems fine, but there was a fluid leak that seemed to be coming from the rear seal after the rebuild. Before the trans was rebuilt, it had a minimal amount of leakage really hardly any, the case was a little damp with fluid, but no active leaks. Anyway, the rebuilder replaced the rear seal and told me that the shifter shaft seals may be leaking but only when the car is being driven, and that the seals are not made by Volvo anymore. He said we might be able to find them on the internet. My questions are: Are there shifter seals in an M47? Where would the evidence of their leakage be? and how can I find replacement seals? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
