Control arm bushings in the driveway (for ChrisS) 700 1987

Hi,

I did the passenger side control arm cone bushings on my 740 today! It was a little tough getting enough leverage with the car only 8" above the ground, but I managed to do it.

That rear nut/bolt holding the strut rod was scary tight. Besides that, it was very easy. I used a small chisel to get the metal body of the old cone bushings out.

I could not get enough leverage with the car on the ground, so I plan to apply final torque to all the parts tomorrow, when I will drive it on some ramps.

I have photos if ChrisS or any other folks are interested. Just drop me a line at fyreandearth at gmail dot com.

Ari
