Stalling when starting cold 200 1992

Will start and run but I need to keep my foot on the gas. As soon as I let go of the gas pedal, she stalls.

Could this be resolved by simply adjusting the throttle position? Or is it a more underlying problem?

Recently, the car was not starting at all and I replaced the Power Stage and the Crank Position Sensor. (The problem was the CPS.) She's been running fine for a few months since then.

When we got the car about 6 months ago, I did a full tune up, spark plugs, distributor cap, rotor, air filter. And I cleaned the intake manifold. Did not replace the plug wires or fuel filter.

I also just cleaned the IAC valve which was not really dirty. Still, it will start and run smoothly for about a second then stumble. Run smooth, stumble etc.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Andy
