B20E...accepting abuse...will dyno later. 140-160

So engine is under rebuild, I'm accepting comments and abuse for fun, because some decisions are irreversible.

Yet to cc head...next week will know what volume is.

Mahle was out of 30 over pistons...went to 40 ($221.00 for 4)
Buying 36mm ex valves from JP, installed with hard seats.
Currently going to use stock springs as cam designer said duals not necessary.

Cam designer is an old SCCA guy and after chatting up our shared experiences from early '70's at Sears and Laguna...I bought one...a single pattern 274 with lobes shaped for SBC Lifters, and exhaust ground 2deg advanced. West Coasters might know him "Dimitri Elgin" of Elgin Cams.

Lower end balanced, decked. Crank only polished. Porting will be seat radius and valve unshroud. Depending on volume will mill for 10 to 1 (Is it a 10.5 '71 or a 9.3 '72??)

Engine shop is next to dyno shop, gets discount on dyno...will post when available...

Rebuild total will be about $ 3800.00 parts included (with new PP, Disc, TO brng, oil pump. Trying to scrape some more up to rebuild M40 while we're in there.

I know...put it on a card...doh!
