Hi,

I have been tinkering with my sunroof and got it to open about 2" before I stopped. Reading the BB archives, I have learned that the sunroof has a turns counter, and that may be the reason that I cannot turn the handle very much. The handle is extremely loose and it will skip on the gears. Can I remove the 2 screws beside the crank and drop it out to examine the mechanism?

Also, since I have never seen one of these sunroofs working, I need to ask: when the sunroof is in the vent position, does the larger part of the sunroof headliner stay, or move upward with the roof?
