Any way to test 1993 240 inline pressostat WITHOUT draining a/c system?

If you mean by 'pressostat' the presure sensor in line before the orifice tube that controls the fan realy ground to switch the fan on, then yes, you need to dump all the R134 (not freon) from the system to replace it. Test with an ohm meter before & after switching the A/C system on, wait about 2-3 min, if it doesn't close( 0 ohms) then the ssytem pressure is too low or the switch is bad.

These rarely go bad, never heard of one going yet. It is much more likely that the system pressure is too low, and need service or charging.
