Our 91 745T is at 250,000. Original engine and transmission, head never off as far as I know. We purchased it 10 years ago as a youngster with 96,000. It has been a great car.

The piston slap is loud enough at idle (hot or cold) for you to have heard it in Ames. People think it is a diesel when they hear it.

Just purchased a 94 944T (77,000)to replace it.
