FCP Groton Introduction

FCP,
There are a couple of people who use the BB for low-key commercial purposes. They do this in conjunction with giving legitimate advice, and I have no objections to that at all.

I've been a regular customer of FCP Groton for many years and I've always been more than satisfied with their service, but I believe that you are going beyond what is acceptable practice in this instance. If FCP Groton wants to advertise or do public relations here, it should buy advertising space. If one or more of its employees wants to participate in the technical discussions and occasionally mention that FCP has a particular part that will solve a problem, I'd have absolutely no problem with that. Now, if FCP really wants to get feedback on its performance, it should open a chat page on its own website for that purpose. If you then used the BB a couple of times to let people know that opportunity is available, I'd have no problem with that whatsoever.

This is a unique site, and Jarrod puts a lot of time and effort into keeping it that way without any, or at most very little, financial benefit. We who enjoy coming here try to do our bit to keep it that way. I have marked your post as Spam and will, of course, leave it up to Jarrod to decide what to do about it.
