1992 940 Shifter Disassembly ???

OK, thanks to the guys at Borton Parts I answered my own question. In short, it is a bitch: requires knocking out a roll pin at the base of the shift knob shaft holding the shifter together. A truly dumb design not fixed until the 1993 940. It makes it impossible to repair electrical switches without about an hour's work knocking out this pin.
