It's still really hard for me to think of 240's as having a 'vintage' appeal...

But it's also hard for me to realize that the '84 wagon I now drive is older now than my '67 122 wagon was when I got it as my first car in 1987... Definitely goes to show the overall quality of the 240 series... my 122 back then was a hot rod, with a freshly rebuilt engine. It was also primer gray, the steering and suspension were worn out, all the hydraulics leaked.. and it had less than 150k miles when I got it. My 240 has barely been touched... it's five years older than that 122 was when I got it, and it's got twice the miles on the clock...

All that said, I'm now in the process of piecing together my '66 wagon in hopes of taking it on the next road trip. 240 wagons are cool, but 122 wagons are much more cool.

Glad you had a fun weekend.. you've got a fine car that will treat you well.
