Ignition failure, intermittent, Volvo/Chrysler system 200

The car: 1982, Volvo/Chrysler ignition, K-jet injection.

The problem: I've been having intermittent ignition failure where the car will not run or will quit running while the key is in the "run" (#2) position. All functions appear to be normal while the key is in the "start" (#3) position. Supplying 12 volts to the ignition coil primary allows the car to run as normal.

Being away from my place, I don't have the luxury of pulling it all apart. While I'll be looking into the connections and grounds to and from the ECU, I was wondering if there might be known areas of common failure I should investigate first.

Thanks in advance for all your help!
