940 A/C belt tensioner failures 900

Hi all, I have been suffering failures of the A/C belt tensioner bolts on both our 940 turbos ('94 with 225K Mi,'95 with 190K). I have owned these or similar Volvos for 15 years so I thought I was familiar with A/C belts on these. The bolts just break. I'm tightening the belts, the locking bolts the way I always have. The belts are fine. On the '95, I have had the bolts that hold the compressor brackets loosen a couple of times. Seems to point to unusual vibration. Compressors both work well and are not noisy-nor do they seem to be vibrating abnormally-but that's just based on my previous experience. Anybody have any similar stories or advice?
